Following the decision of Richard Carrion to leave his various functions at the IOC, notably that of President of the IOC Finance Commission, the two men agreed that the Puerto Rican would continue to lead negotiations with the television stations which are ongoing until the Sochi 2014 Games. Thomas Bach also asked Ser Miang Ng to chair the next Finance Commission meeting in December.
Carrion remains a member of the IOC but relinquishes his functions as negotiator of TV rights outside Europe and Chairman of the Audit Committee and member of the coordination commission for the Rio 2016 Games.
