Concern is spreading across Ukrainian sport. The Olympic sports federations have drafted a joint open letter, addressed to the President of the Republic, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the Speaker of Parliament, Dmytro Razumkov, in which they express their deep concern following the government's decision to cut aid for Olympic preparation. “ Disruption of sports funding destroys all efforts made to prepare athletes for the Olympic Games, insists the document. We are not asking for additional resources for our sports and disciplines. We only ask the government to fulfill its financial obligations defined by the agreements signed between the federations and the ministry."
